This is my first EP from my music project ZetaReticuli released back in 2005. Every track title is a reference to the process of alien abduction.
In 2005 I was reading a lot about abductions and cases around the world. Soon I needed a soundtrack to get involved in my readings to create the right atmosphere. I got a Casio keyboard for very little money and that was the first time I used it, creating the notes and melodies and transcribing what I played into the Reason software. All 10 tracks were made in one night, that was my best inspiration and active muse ever.
The tone of all the tracks is very dark and threatening, introducing you into the eerie ambient of what people have suffered with these abductions.
The inspiration from the musical point of view were Jean Michel Jarre, movie director and musician John Carpenter and the alien craft sound from movies of the 50s, main reason why I started calling it Sci-Fi Ambient Electronic...
