I thought this was such a cool idea. Instead of using advertisements through google or wherever, you can place an in browser Monero miner. It is written in javascript and is easy to add to any html document. You might not get rich off of this but it could be a good way to bring in some income off of the traffic that stops by your website. Here is my rudimentary implementation of it. I plan to use it in better websites that I developed in the future. There is a link on my webpage to the site where you can access how to incorporate a Monero miner into your own site.
p.s. It is always a good idea to give people browsing to your site a heads up that this is happening. If not they could be experience some delays or heavy CPU usage and not know why. You could lose a lot of patrons if they would find out the were mining the whole time and didn't know about it.
