Well alot of issues are going to be addressed first of all
1. Bandwidth and Security issues: the resource credit system will be worked on and improved in order to increase the bandwidth efficiency by intelligently distributing its resources to spam from clogging up the network
2. Faster services: Its not new news that sometimes the steemit main page takes forever to load and wallet transactions do not reflect the current state of the steem blockchain. Its possible thag steemd nodes and node operators could be facing some memory constraints and if that happens the problem could become worse. To solve this, the actual cost of the transactions will be calculated so that resource distribution doesnt get overwhelmed.
3. Self voting curation rewards: When posts get upvoted, authors receive curation rewards while the curators get author rewards while curators are supposedly supposed to receive curation rewards but the fact is that they don't get it completely. The portions that aren't used will get sent back to the reward pool instead of being sent to the authors, as such the overall amount that will be sent to curators will be increased.
4. Down vote abuse (end of payout): Well some people for reasons best known to them wait till a post is at the very last minute before payout and then downvote it. Maybe it's because of personal beef or just downright wickedness but in the new hard fork there seems to be a way to soften the blow of the downvote a bit. Well upvotes and downvote will have a significantly reduced effect on a posts payout in the last 12 hours, it most definitely won't fix the problem but at least it will reduce the damage.
thats all I know for now, I hope you find this helpful @francistagbo
