That's the world famous Komodo dragon from a short distance. Incredible animals! Not without reason thery are called dragons. Maybe they are not that huge as Dracarys from the Game of Thrones but are pretty big. Their length is up to 3 metres or sometimes even more! They are endemic for Komodo, Flores and Rinca islands. Really powerful reptiles as well as really dangerous.
The most interesting fact about these animals is that they are cannibals! Young ones spend almost all the time on trees so their parents will not eat them :o They can safely wak on the ground when they are too big and strong to be eaten. Nature turly is amazing!
