BEING FREE FROM SIN
Thank God, it was actually a blissful time to be part of the gathering filled with Thanksgiving, hence as much as what was taught in the Thanksgiving service actually addresses a lot of patterns of various immoralities that calls for change in order to make things right, which have to be in accordance with the scripture, according to the book of Galatians 5:13, where Apostle Paul reminded us that ever since we were given freedom, we have not actually had the leverage to sin or to remain in sin, hence there is an opportunity to leverage on by serving one another in true love, which is biblical.
Furthermore, where there is love that comes from serving others, there is always selflessness, which involves prioritizing one's affairs, and as much as the person desires, it goes by showing kindness, compassion, and generosity, which has to be done in request of nothing in return, hence this strengthens our relationship as much as our community, which has the purpose of sharing love.
Meanwhile, the book of James 1:15 specifically outlines the progression that is attached to sinful acts, such as lying, stealing, cheating, adultery, envying, harming, greed, and others, which are regarded as sins that lead to spiritual and even physical death, which are not supposed to be part of the Christian life, it is expected that every Christian has to be on guard over this sinful act, which tends to cause demarcation between us and God.
Isaiah 30:1 gave us typical examples of what the children of Israel did over going contrary to the word of God by being independent in their decisions, which actually bounced back on them over receiving the consequences of going against the word of God, it is expected that every believer has to be of the word through obeying and keeping to the morals made by God, which are not to be broken for any reason.
Therefore, there is a need for every believer to understand the plan that God has for us over assuring us repentance, which is the plan that God has for his children who implement and work according to his guidance, which is admirable over going against the sinful ways that are not in line with the word of God. Hence, in James 3:15, let us understand that godly wisdom is earthly wisdom, which characterizes selfish ambitions, which are disorder over the order of being righteous, so there is every need for us to cast out the on call, for which James 3:15 let us understand that godly things are our main priority and the way out.
So dear brother and sister, in Romans 13:12, it is expected of us to cast out darkness for light to shine in our lives, as Apostle Paul encouraged us to live a life filled with righteousness, which is all about putting on the armor of light over the works of darkness, which entails the act of fighting against the plans of the devil, which are not meant to be part of it, so there is a need for us to understand the fact that we need not to take part in unfruitful works of darkness from the devil's, but rather our obligation to expose them, as is written in Ephesians 5:11. So let's avoid sinful acts and embrace righteousness.
