Hi, can we be Friends?
I am excited that finally, I've had the time to officially introduce myself to members of this platform and to resume my full-term content creation.
My Hive account was actually created on the 22nd of December, 2022. I didn't start blogging due to the many activities I was to engage in during the short Christmas holiday I had, until December 30 when I did my first post on the Model-agency community. Since then, I've been able to put up 88 posts in that community since it requires jut a picture of my face and maybe a short write.
Today marks the 101th day on this platform and I'm glad I finally had the courage and time to tell you all about myself after some failed attempts.
Who is @Kingswill?
I choose the name @kingswill as it is an English translation of my name, Uduak-obong. I'm Nigerian, specifically from Akwa Ibom State. I'm the 6th child and second daughter in the family of 7. You do a lot of home chores for being the last child in this part of the world.
I'm beautiful, tall and my friends say I'm dark, what do you think of my complexion? I have a beautiful family but lost my dad when I was about 5 years old. God has been my father and has inspired many people to take care of me. I am a Christian and I love God who first loved me. I serve in the children’s and choir departments.
I smile even through pains. Smile for me is a cheerleader for everyone around me.
My Education
I attended Four (4) different schools before finishing my nursery/primary education. Life sometimes opens us to different chapters, even the ones we do not wish they came by. In all, I’m glad it’s a story I've grown to enjoy sharing. I was favoured to go through my secondary education via scholarship. I furthered to tertiary education at Cross river university of technology (CRUTECH) now known as UNICROSS to study Business Education under Management option. I graduated from there in 2019, but due to the pandemic I finished everything in 2021, and by the grace of God I was mobilized immediately and was posted to Bauchi state where I am serving my nation.
My skills
I told you that being the last girl at home, I do a lot of home chores., That led me to learning some life saving and economic empowering skills. I know how to braid hair, bake cake, produce perfume, and produce custard, I will love to go into shoe making, I wish to be able to make shoes for both males and females.
My Travels
Life took me quite early out of the house. I've been to Five (5) States in my country aside from my state of origin - Bauchi (North), Nassarawa and Plateau (Middle belt), Lagos (West) and Cross River (South). It's been school, holidays and experience that took me around. I'm sure I'll travel more.
My interests and hobbies
I love to do so many things but I'm so passionate about few thing, I love singing, listening to music, cooking, watching movies and reading, what facilitates me in life and I find joy whenever I'm doing it is singing and listening to music. Each time I listen to good music, it revives me of worries and bring life to my soul. Music inspires me.
I love teaching and I love farming too. Both are very tedious works to do, but I've I've leant to smile while doing them.
What I’m I doing on Hive?
I'm here to explore life and catch some fun. I never saw myself to be a model until I joined Hive. I've been parading my pictures each day in the Model Agency community and people say I'm beautiful. Glad that I can find a place I read social contents that are educating and challenging.
I hope to learn a lot here and make the most of my time here. Already, I've made some withdrawals and that has taken care of my data expenses over the past few weeks. I've also started some bits of investment.
I'll do my best to share with you my life stories and lessons. I will also share thoughts with you on Business as I grow mine. I will share my success and failures.
Lest I forget, I teach Business Education in a Secondary School in Bauchi as part of my service to my nation. Teaching is a tasking jpb but I find joy in doing it and seeing the students grow.
Let's End here
Thank you for reading through that long stuff. Thanks to my Director @Uyobong that told me about Hive and how I can make the most of it. I'll make him proud.
The past 100 days has been fun, the next days I am sure would be better.
