It's worrisome today to see people never forgetting their charger each time they're out. Maybe it's not happening elsewhere than in Nigeria where we suffer ridiculous power supply amid high rates. There are quite a number of reasons to justify such actions especially when we need to connect with friends and family on social platforms, make calls play music, watch movies, listen to news, play games, among other needs our phones can satisfy.
In fact, every social space that really want to earn high patronage must make provisions for its clients to charge their gadgets- churches, schools, malls and many other places you may think of. Each time we arrive our next stop point, the first thing to do is to observe where the next power outlet would be.
The above scenario explained shows how desperate we are to get our gadgets running and updated for the latest news and other releases. My muse this evening was "if at all we're that conscious to charge our brains too". Yeah! you heard me right. Our brains too needs to be charged. It gets depleted of its power and may malfunction or under-function at times due to power deficiency.
The power of the brain is Knowledge
You remember the popular proverb that Knowledge is Power? It is so because we exercise influence to the level we know. The opportunities we know are the ones we can seize. Our level of decay is also dependent on how ignorant we are. The human mind was built to function optimally when it is fed with the right information.
Thanks for technology that has made the acquisition of information easier. At the very comfort of our bedroom, we can fetch an age long history and many more hints that could make life more effective and rewarding.
Opting for fun stuffs and things that make us stay at ease may be the default hunger of our minds. However, we keep our creative brain cells running by learning something new that you have never learned before. It could be anything. Just anything, name them - a new language, instrument and the likes.
Read, Read and Read.
Sarmad Hasan reported that researchers at Emory University conducted MRI scans on students who are asked to read Pompeii novels.
The results of the scans revealed that there was a substantial boosting brain connectivity and an increased activity in the brain regions responsible for managing receptivity, physical sensation, and controlling movements.
It is obvious that each time we stimulate our brains by reading, we are able to increase its capacity and functionality to make us more creative.
Just to remind you to Charge our brain today.
I'm your friend, @Kingswill.
