As early as 4am Saturday, I woke up remembering that I actually made a post some days back on a community and through a frontend I wasn't used to, to get support as others have been getting. Still, in the end, I didn't get anything, and the worst case is that the frontend set a 10% compulsory beneficiary for themselves from every post made through the frontend. So, I didn't get the support, and also, the little one I earned via my personal efforts, which is almost insignificant due to the dip in Hive, has been chopped off by their set 10% compulsory beneficiary.
I'm not writing this to go against some communities and frontends that set some percentage as beneficiaries from every post made on their communities or through their frontends; no, I'm just lamenting about using such a platform, and in the end, I lost heavily. Yes, it's a heavy loss as far as I'm concerned because if I got $0.2 as the earnings on the post, at the end, nothing gets to my wallet after the 10% has been deducted to chop off the little amount that was supposed to come to me.
That was crazy!
