Even to this day, I still don't get the context of boxing. That sport appears like a joke to me even though real blows are thrown and the loser gets punched very hard. The fact that there's a referee who separates the fight whenever punches are being thrown at sensitive parts of the body, makes it more like a joke to me.
Okay, hold on.
Earlier in May 2026, a boxing contest took place between two Nigerian celebrities. The major aim of the match was to pick who is more powerful between them. Before the match, the two contestants did a lot of fortification including the native/spiritual ones and this was especially done by Portable. There was a lot of mouth making and also, people staked huge amounts of money for their favourite contestants to win.
To be honest, I didn't support any of them because I knew that boxing is not always about who is stronger due to the rules implied. I wished they could be allowed to do a real fight without a referee and without the boxing rules, just pure fight like the ones we see in Chinese movies, where contestants are meant to fight to the point of death and even if it's possible, to the death. Lol
When the winner was announced, the one that did a lot of hype and spiritual fortifications lost and people made jokes about him.
Deep down, if the fight was made to be fought on a plain ground without the boxing rules, the loser would have been the winner. I just know this.
Gosh! I dislike the boxing terms. Why can't it be a real fight???
Thanks for reading.
