Humans are insatiable beings and as such most times we are moved by what we see others do. But the crazy thing we seem to forget is that what is good for the goose might be bad for the gander. That Mr A is doing fine or gets away with a particular stuff doesn't mean that Mr B will get the same results.
One thing we really forget is that one mistake we make in life can ruin our life forever. That is why we should always be careful in choosing our lifestyle or the life we all want to live.
God might be our guide in life but remember we are the architect of our life, our future. It is our decisions today that will determine our outcome tomorrow in life. Don't ever do something because another person is doing it. That he stole and got away with it doesn't necessarily mean you'll too. That he/she does evil and nothing happens doesn't mean you might be free. A single mistake can ruin us forever or prolong our blessings.
Let's look at examples in the bible.
Moses was born to lead the isrealite to freedom but at first he decided to make his destiny by killing an Egyptian when God hasn't given him the order, he had to wait many 40 years later before he was called by God again in the burning bush.
Maybe if he had lost track the second time maybe he wouldn't have led his people the (Israelites) to safety or maybe he would have waited for another 40 years.
Another clear example was King Saul.
King Saul also made a mistake which made him to lose his throne to David. He couldn't obey an instruction from God that ruined his reign as king in Israel.
We all might not have a second Chance like Moses, that's the reason why we should be careful with our life decisions.
