While my other works focus on resilience and memory, this piece is all about energy, identity, and expression.
“Fashion” is not simply about clothing. For me, it’s about movement, attitude, and freedom. In this drawing, I wanted to capture a figure in motion, a woman striking a confident pose, her body language saying as much as her outfit.
The wide-legged pants and cropped top symbolize style, but the real story lies in her stance. Her raised arms and tilted posture suggest confidence, rhythm, and individuality. It’s almost like she’s dancing to her own music.
When I was sketching this, I thought about how art and fashion are deeply connected. Both are forms of self-expression. Just as a painter chooses colors, a person chooses clothes to express who they are or how they feel.
This artwork reminds me that fashion is not shallow, it’s personal. It’s art we wear on our bodies every day.
