Introduction

Good day friends. Want to quickly share something sweet with you guys and I know you'll love it.

While growing up as a young Christian in West Africa,I heard alot of messages from the the good old book (holy Bible) but one of by my best exhortation till date was the one culled from Colossians 4:6

Scriptural Digest

Colossians 4:6 "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."

In closing his letter to the Colossian church, Paul decide to give some important exhortations in very short sentences. They are sublime and profound.

He said the Believer's words should be alway with grace... ALWAYS is one of the key words in this exhortation. Some speak graceful words only on Sundays; some only when they're happy; some when things are going 'according to their plan'. If these are not so, their words will lack all grace.

Our words should be with grace always; when we are happy or sad, rich or poor, home or away, upset or calm, excited or depressed, faith-full or afraid, in the morning or evening. Whatever condition, time, place, or event, your word should be always with grace - mending and not tearing, soothing and not insulting, salty and not peppery.

Conclusion

Note, only grace is the seasoning for our words. Without it, you can't speak godly and gracious words.
