I get annoyed to see a lot of people with wonderful quotes and write-ups, it seems everyone knows how to write beautifully and true. They seem to know how to do everything and it makes no difference to be a writer any longer, because any idiot can just wake up and draft a beautiful quote. No one cares if it is plagiarised or not, so far it is a beautiful quote. If I am to go by these wonderful quotes and write-ups, I will say, 95% of us knows the right things to do, so then, why are we not doing them? A man will come out and write "persistence is key to success" this is quite true, but the same man gives up after the first sign of failure. I think this just goes to prove that it is easier said than done. I hate the feeling! Not the fact that it reduces original writers to nothing, but because people know too much and do nothing! Everyone hides under the umbrella of writing to avoid doing. Most of the original writers don't even practice what they write, yet they write so beautifully. I am deviating from this norm!
My path is a tough one now, because I am putting into practice everything I have learnt and written. This has brought me close to depression, sometimes I begin to wonder if those things written are true, but people write anyways. I'm not taking the easy route any longer, I am doing as much as I write! I am practicing and still putting into practice everything I have read. I think one of the major problems of Africa is that we have too many writers and only a few doers. Any fool can write, of course they do, but if we all put what we write, copy and paste into practice, I believe this country will be better than it is at the moment. We do not need too many writers, we need more more doers! STOP WRITING, START DOING! It starts with me!
