One of the most challenging things I have think I gave done was to the decision not to work with myself certificate.
I'm a graduate. I finished school two years ago. It's not really much about their course in did but about my decision not to go around with a folder in my hand knocking from one office to the other. I hate the rat race. I hate having to work 9 to 5. I hate the fact that I'll only get paid once a month. In a nutshell, I hate the cliché of working in an office.
I've always valued working on my own terms. Even before I knew there were online jobs, I'd always envisaged a life where I could be a the boss.
I grew up to hear my dad answer 'Yes sir' too many times. I hated it. I hated the fact that society demanded that you had to respect and act like a slave towards another human just because they've got a better placing in the social strata. I never liked it.
So, it was a big decision but one I had to make nonetheless. Ive taken taken entrepreneurial part even though I haven't found footing yet. I believe things can change pretty fast and I'm learning. Friends and family think I'm chasing shadows but I believe in myself and that what matters.
I almost shed tears at times when I ruminate on people's reactions but my visions and gaols are my propellers, my support. It's been really difficult but I know that soon enough I'll get there.
