This text is a modified reply I gave to someone dear to my heart who was already a "BELIEVER" , about a year+ ago, after I received one fear based "rapture" video from the person. I thought what I sent her can help others too.
" Don't you know you are a child of God? You can't go to hell because you are a child of God,Your case is different "
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
(John 1:12)
Only persons who do not believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ would go to hell (John 3:16-18).
For you, you have come to the kingdom of God already (Hebrews 12:22).
Now because you believe in what Jesus has done for you, there is therefore now no condemnation for you (Romans 5:17). God does not remember our wrong doings, so no screen go play our sin on the last day, besides no where in the Bible says so (Hebrews 8:12, Jeremiah 31:34).
We did not gain all these privileges because of our good 'deeds' but because of Christ's 'deeds'
For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
(Romans 5:17).
We are saved by Grace and not works, it's a free gift from God to us, if your dad buys you a new shoe for your birthday did you do anything to earn it? No, you did absolutely nothing, he gave you because he loves you, even so God has freely gave us salvation, it's only left for you to accept the gift or refuse the gift
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9).
God has sworn never to be angry with you forever (Isaiah 54:9). You are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved by God. Satan wants us to believe it the other way round.
Thank you for going through this short message, I hope it was helpful.
