I mean, I'm as big a Protestant as there gets so...Sola scriptura :)

But as for the laws, I'm pretty sure if we followed the 10 commandments, as humanity, we'd be doing o.k. lol But alas, we can't even follow those 10 without some help from up above. So I understand what you are referring to.

And like I was saying, I completely agree that there does need to be more to the Christian walk...And we do tend to beat people over the head with the Book....But is that the Bible's fault?

Or does it show a fallen humanity, with the need for 100% reliance on God. And for me, that's keeping my nose in scripture every day, believing every word of it, and having the faith in our Saviour, that I wouldn't have known without following his Book and learning about His character.
