What is so special about Pengog tso lake ...
This lake is a lake of salt water, which is situated in Ladakh of Jammu Kashmir at an altitude of about 4500 meters above sea level. This lake stretches up to 134 km.
Amazingly one part of it is in India and two-thirds is in Tibet, which is now under the occupation of China. Due to being on the India-China border, you can see only some of the parts here. There are many Indians films shot here. And shooting films is regularly going on here.
