This is indeed a good way to train our creativity on how to make bombastic and eye catching headline at the first place and followed with an twisted story that will bring the readers deep into the world that we want to put them in. As a marketing tool, we usually see a lot of over exaggerated titles with some pretty simple contents that intended for selling certain product or services. As a content marketer, it is a skill to achieve a few viral headlines per annum to make “impact” in the tough commerce world.
I get a few words that are pretty mind blowing and they are: killer, 137lb and wanted. Well all of those have certain extra features added to the game and I ended up creating some stupid sounding headlines: urban farmers are wanted, Newton secret of turning the Earth to 137lb, and Ecstasy sparks a killer group in a bar. We have just around 30 seconds to a minute to come out with a headline and that’s how we just grab what we have in our head and put it down. As long as it makes sense in some way, we have to make it up first.
This game very much reflects how we are facing the challenges along the entrepreneurial road whereby we just use whatever resources we have at the first place then we play along until we find new resources to make things better. Change is the constant and we need to keep adapt and improve so that we could survive through the tough time. Many times, we may seem stupid but as long as it makes us able to survive through, that is something bearable. Love this game as it really drives me to think a lot and get my brain turning.
