Well my feline friends made it through this crazy loud 4th of July.
Foxtrott was not seen for over a week, then he showed up last Wed., just in time to be completely freaked out and shocked for his first survival of the war sound on the 4th. My neighborhood had three different big firework displays just one house away.. So all three sides of my house were exploding for hours. I've never heard so many. Kind of insane considering the fire danger and so close to all the houses.
Guess the fun color show was worth it, and hopefully all the dogs, birds, kitties and others have fully recovered as well. I just read that somewhere in China they do fireworks that are silent....mmmmm now there's an idea?
Sir Obie took off for 48 hours and I was really concerned as he never does this. He showed up late yesterday and was completely limping.. I can't seem to find anything going on. My suspicion is that he kept running from all the sounds and strained his sensitive hip. I tried to find him, to bring him inside and put a little bit of rescue remedy in his ears and dose him with some cbd oil.. but no go.

Back to being King loungers, Foxtrott and Obie are hanging out as usual, pretty mellow this morning, just listening, chilling and watchin birds as they do..
Happy Caturday Felines!
