This beauty is called a Columbine flower. It's pretty easy to grow, and I can't believe it survives the bitter cold winter months! Other than deadheading them throughout the growing season, and making sure I watered them on hot days, there's not much to the up keep of this lovely perennial.
Another bonus of this flower, is that the hummingbirds loved it!! I didn't even have to put out the Hummingbird feeder this year, the Columbine flower did it all for me :-)
I can't wait for for it to warm up again, so I can see another year of my Columbine's!
