Hi everyone! How was yourr holiday? I guess it was a fun and happy time for everyone with family and friends, right?
The current pandemic is still complicated, so my holiday is nothing special. I can't take my children away, and I can't give them new experiences in new places. Instead, I take my children to my father's house to visit him and celebrate the New Year with him.
When we entered Dad's house, we were surprised by the presence of a strange character. It's a cute puppy.
My dad said it was his new friend. He asked for it from my cousin. Sometimes, being alone at home, surrounded by four walls and a small garden, also makes my father feel lonely. Maybe that's why this little dog appeared here.
My dad gave him a cute name, Kiki. He is very approachable and lovely. My kids were so excited when they saw Kiki.
They always wanted a pet in the house, such as a cat or dog, but I wouldn't allow it for fear they would be in danger.
So, when they saw Kiki, they were happy and excited.
My daughter stuck with him all day, and she asked a lot of questions that made me laugh. Kiki is also very fond of my daughter. He was always running after her and wagging his tail.
Kiki reminds me of a childhood buddy of mine. It's also a lovely and intelligent dog, and his name is Miu. My Miu has jet-black fur and bright eyes. She and I were together for a very long time in our childhood. We are very close. We go everywhere together. Later, she got sick and died. Since then, my family has not raised any more animals. When she left, my father and I were so sad. My dad even cried because Miu was an intelligent and loyal friend.
Kiki's presence made the atmosphere in the house more fun. I hope Kiki will always be by my father's side and be friends with him so that he no longer feels lonely and sad.
There is a saying that says, "A dog will not care whether you are smart or stupid, beautiful or ugly, as long as you give your heart to it, and it will give it back to you."
This quote made me think a lot. Dogs are cute animals. How good would the world be if we also gave love to each other like in their world? With no distinctions in terms of social, wealth, or status, only heart and heart, and love between people.
