Hi!
I introduce Bongjeongam of Mt.Seorak in Gangwon Province.
Bongjeongam is located in the highest place in Mt. Seorak ( 1,224m above sea level),
and is an adjunct to the Buddhist temple of Mt.
It is a typical Buddhist holy place, the 5th Great Era of the Dead,
and is famous as a pilgrimage place for Buddhist believers.
JAJANG of the Silla Dynasty returned home with the Buddha's Jinsari in the Tang Dynasty,
and built a temple with Sari here.
JEOG-MYEOL-BOGUNG is the place where the Buddha's true shrine is held.
Bongjeongam is the name given to the phoenix that disappeared into the Buddha's forehead.
It is said that when you bow 3,000 times here, your wish is fulfilled.
