Only God has a word of life. In God there is hope and full confidence that he will fulfill what he has promised. We can live trusting in God, even in the midst of life's storms.

Paul lived in horrendous circumstances: his Jewish compatriots rejected him, stoned him, left him for dead, ridiculed him, ignored him and beat him and repeatedly imprisoned him for his devotion to Christ. But Paul never failed to maintain a sure hope until the end. How do i do it?

The apostle Paul recalled a simple truth: "I can do all things in Christ that strengthen me" (Philippians 4:13). Paul focused on his Lord, as did the prophet Jeremiah: "Great is your faithfulness. My portion is Jehovah, my soul said; therefore, I will wait on him (Lm 3: 23-24).

Dear reader, do you trust the Lord? Have you experienced the firm assurance that comes as a result of putting your faith in the infallible love of the Lord?
I loved him unconditionally yesterday, and he loves him with that same love today and tomorrow, forever. Therefore, place the burden of your heart on Him, and you will discover that you can also sing: "Great is the faithfulness of our God."
