When I was six, we had a praying mantis, yes pregnant in the house. Someone brought her in and she was let loose in all of my mother's house plants. She laid a sack of eggs on the macrame plant hanger an done morning we woke to hundreds of praying mantises all over our living room ceiling! Yay!
