It’s one thing to use AI, and it is another thing to learn with AI. A lot of people use AI, but very few really learn with it. The fact still remains that the issue is not AI, the issue is the use of AI. WHen we think about it, not everyone is really learning with AI, a lot of people just use it. People use AI for assignments, for reporting, for presentations etc… But not everyone uses AI for actual learning. I guess it is because self learning is hard, learning with AI is even harder.

With AI there is so much concentrated information that even though it looks organized, it’s often difficult to digest at a go and not to talk about the fact that AI can just begin to hallucinate and it becomes frustrating. It takes a really strong will to learn anything, but then again when you are learning and practicing at the same time using AI, it becomes even more easy and that is the advantage AI has over real life teachers.
I was working on a proposal for something I was not really familiar with, before now I would have to read it, understand it, then practicalize it going back to my books. If I had a teacher I would probably have asked a lot of frustrating questions with the pressure of trying to know it all at once. But with AI, I can read, understand and practicalize almost at the same time. I can even go as far as asking as many questions as I want to without the fear of disrespecting anyone or being looked down on and that is what it means to learn with AI. So when we think about it like this, can we say it’s a blessing or a cause.
