Everyone has the right to do whatever they want, and when I say everyone I mean everyone. This doesn’t just mean you and me, but every single person. This is to say I could decide to steal and you could decide to arrest me. We are both exhibiting our fundamental human rights. One would be delusional to think that simply because they can do whatever they like they can get away with whatever they have done. But then when we think about it, it would be unfair to everyone else if only one person or a group of people can do whatever they want without repercussions. Life itself would test us, and punish us if we do certain things that goes against its laws, the punishment isn’t usually out of wickedness but rather consequence and when it comes we must bare it, but this doesn’t mean we were deprived of free will, in fact it is a testament that we had the right and will to choose to do that action and we did it.

Consequence is the same thing as reward, In fact I always say that if consequences weren’t bitter I am sure a lot of people wouldn’t mind, but the fact still remains that Life isn’t a bed of roses and just like how rewards could come after good deeds, consequences could come when you choose to do bad, it’s just the natural order of life. This is why I wonder why people think they need to fight for free will, especially those who can boldly come out to protest without anyone deciding to stand against them. Even those who have people standing against them still have free will as free will is within and not a product of actions but an instigation to take an action. The aftermath of such action is left to fate. You can not say you are under the bondage of someone or a group of people if they do not have the direct control to dictate how your life goes and if no one is doing this to you then you have free will.

If someone says I would shoot you if you speak, you become afraid of dying and choose not to speak, this means they have control over your very action. But if no one tells you anything and you speak and get shot for it, it was simply a result of your actions but to others, it has become a threat to their own action. But there are also levels to this thing because it doesn’t mean the person with the gun has power over you, it just means you choose to surrender your will to their demands because you are afraid of dying. But there is another level of captivity where you never choose to be in a situation. For example those born into a dictatorship system already have their will taken from them at birth for just being citizens, they can’t do anything about it or even leave. This is not just the fear of death, but the conditioned superiority their mind has already succumbed to since they could know themselves.
