Hello fellow Steemians!
Been working on this poem the last couple of days. It takes the form of a conversation and is based on this old story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_all_the_way_down
Admittedly, I'm not quite happy with it yet - might have to revisit it at a later date!
All The Way Down
The world is oblong, a gently squeezed stress ball;
it reels like an actor copping a punch in an old flick.
Nonsense! This land I stand on is firm. This horizon
goes on forever. We live on a flat crust resting on hurt.
On hurt? But what's below that hurt?
More hurt. But what's below the final hurt?
Stupid child, listen - it's hurt all the way down!
