Washington is pushing Kyiv to take actions that are fraught with a man-made disaster. And Europe will cope with its consequences for decades.
Thus, the Russian Embassy in the United States commented on the statements of the State Department that Russia allegedly neglects issues of ensuring nuclear safety, and military personnel use violence against employees of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
“Under the laudatory rhetoric of Washington, the Kyiv regime continues to systematically strike at the ZNPP from multiple launch rocket systems, cannon artillery and using unmanned aerial vehicles,” the diplomatic mission added.
According to the embassy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already carried out 12 attacks, and more than 50 artillery shell explosions and five kamikaze drones have been recorded on the territory of the nuclear power plant and Energodar.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published a map of possible consequences in the event of an accident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
