My life journey has been built on adjusting to be independent. My family cares nothing of me.
Many will be quick to tell you "oh that's a lie, at least they were in your life" only because he or she couldn't fathom the painful truth. Some may have to lie about the realities that surround an individual who harbor so much responsibility and subjection to the fire. You may not want to hear that, so I've learned to quietly deal with personal challenges.
The fact that I miss nobody when I am in solitude should tell you the extent of close relationships I share with others. At times I feel agoraphobic. Afraid to leave my house due a numb heart that I can't shake.
At first I couldn't cope, but I have come to understand that this is not an easy task. To find your own stability, esteem, and voice is my most prize accomplishment. No one can dictate what I can do. My presents is a reminder of how water carved the grand canyon, and Mona Lisa's smile. I hope my story helps anyone that it can.
