I hardly ever see stuff that would sell around here, most people tend to destroy stuff that they put out. It's the "if I can't have it no-one can" mentality.
I picked up a Fisher and Paykel smart drive washing machine motor a while back though. The motor came off easy enough but I had to get a bit butcherous with it to get the drive shaft assembly out. Sometimes you have get violent with white goods.
Do you carry a small toolkit or a multi tool pocket knife etc with you to get things apart?
