EFOOTBALL SPANISH CUP EVENT MATCH🤓

Bro this Spanish Clubs Tour Event in eFootball on Legend is actually stressing me out. The whole reason I’m even playing it is to get that selection contract for a Barcelona or Real Madrid player, so every single match matters. I went in with Chelsea against Malaga AG thinking my squad would just bully them, but Legend difficulty doesn’t care who you are. The AI presses like their lives depend on it, they cut every passing lane, and they don’t even get tired. From kickoff I could feel it because even my midfielders like Dimitri Berbatov and Diego Marito were getting swarmed in 2 seconds. I knew right there this wasn’t going to be easy and I was about to suffer for 90 minutes.
The worst part is the 0-0. In this event if you don’t win, you don’t get the selection contract, so a draw basically feels like a loss. I was actually playing decent too. Around 47th to 49th minute I had Mbappe and Berbatov linking up, I was trying through balls, got into the box a couple times. Later I brought on Rooney, had Puyol at the back, Sneijder taking a corner at 52 minutes, even Taitis was in there trying to break them down. But Legend is just built to frustrate you. You can have all the possession, 10+ shots, and still walk away with nothing because one bad touch or one missed shot and the AI just resets and kills your momentum. That’s exactly what happened to me and it’s so annoying.
Legend punishes you hard for trying to play nice football. I tried playing out from the back with Puyol and Carvajal and Malaga just jumped on me instantly. And when I finally got to the final third with Mbappe and Rooney, nothing would go in. The keeper was saving everything, defenders were coming out of nowhere to block, and every shot I did get was straight at the GK. On any other difficulty I probably win this 3-0 easy, but on Legend a 0-0 feels worse than losing. Especially because the whole point is that Barca or Madrid player at the end. Now I’m sitting here with nothing to show for 90 minutes of grinding.
And now I have to rematch which is what really pisses me off. The event timer is running down and every draw is just wasted time and stamina. I’m not replaying because I want to, I’m replaying because the game basically robbed me. You go in thinking “okay this time I’ll be clinical” but the AI is so random. One game your striker misses an open goal, next game he scores a banger from 30 yards. It feels personal. The only way I’m beating this is if I stop trying to play pretty and just go direct. Score early, park the bus a bit, and hit them on the counter. Once you go 1-0 up on Legend the AI actually opens up and you can play.
So yeah, that 0-0 vs Malaga AG on Legend was painful but I’m not done yet. I was close so many times I just need that one goal to go in. Next game I’m going more direct to Mbappe, maybe try manual shooting, and I’m not letting my midfield get overrun again. The Spanish Clubs event is still on so I’ve got time, but I can’t let draws like this tilt me. I’m going back in, getting the win, and taking that Barcelona or Real Madrid selection contract. That’s what I started this grind for.
