It ended 4-0 and the whole thing felt like a training session because there was no network. I just opened eFootball to kill time and got Celtic vs Livingston in an exhibition match. From kickoff Celtic came out flying. Maeda scored early, around the 9th minute, and the commentary caught it perfectly — “Lui arrive dans les pieds, il termine l'action comme il sait le faire, c'est génial.” 1-0 and Livingston were already chasing the game. I was switching between Hatate, McGregor and Kyogo trying to keep the ball moving and Livingston just sat deep with no way out. The stadium looked full on screen, all the green and white in the stands, and I’m here in Port Harcourt with no data playing against CPU. At that point I thought maybe it would stay 1 or 2-0 but Celtic weren’t slowing down at all.
Around 10-12 minutes Livingston actually got one chance and the Celtic keeper pulled off a proper save. “Oh mais quelle parade! Et voilà une façon de faire briller le gardien.” For a second I thought they might get back into it. Then Celtic took control again. I was using Dash & Pressure and switching players every two seconds because Livingston couldn’t keep the ball. The second goal came before 25 minutes and that’s when it opened up. “Quelle occasion, attention! Et oui, but. Ils enfoncent le coup.” 2-0 and the game was done. My phone even flashed “10% Battery” right in the middle of it but I kept playing because once Celtic start scoring they don’t stop. I started trying stepovers with Maeda and shooting from outside just to make the clip look decent since I couldn’t play online.
The second half was just more of the same. Third goal came from a cutback in the box, simple finish and Livingston’s defense was completely gone. Players like Brooklyn Kabongolo and Emmanuel Danso were running but nobody was tracking runs. I was chaining Pass and Shoot and everything was hitting. No network means no real opponent so the AI just kept giving the ball away. Then the fourth goal came late to make it 4-0. I actually skipped the celebration because I was tired and my battery was low. The commentator was acting like it was a final but it was just exhibition vs CPU. No ranking, no coins, no one to send it to. Just me and a screen recording that ends with the CapCut logo.
4-0 final and Celtic played exactly how they should — fast passing, high press, and they finished everything. Livingston barely got out of their half the whole game. It’s annoying because the football was actually good but it doesn’t count for anything without network. If my data was on this would’ve been a ranked match and I’d be posting clips everywhere. Instead I’ve just got a 4-0 win against AI and a dying phone. Still, it felt good to play. As soon as network comes back I’m taking this same Celtic team online and seeing if they can cook like this against real people too.
