It's most fun if you play it with 3 or ideally 4 players because that adds a lot of chaos to the mix.
It's still entertaining with 2 players, but if one player is considerably better than the other one, it's going to become very frustrating for the worse player pretty fast.
If you are about the same level, though, it still should be really fun to play.
