I agree with this as my former boyfriend also hated cats, with a passion hated them.. until this one tabby little kitten kept following him around for weeks and would climb up onto his shoulder and purr purr.. he took the cat home and asked me if we could keep it after it had been stalking him for 2 weeks. I was shocked! But he was the greatest cat! Oh how I miss our little Tony..

In the contrast, my dog was abandoned at 5 weeks old locked in a kennel with his litter mates and mom, starving dehydrated and covered in shit.. alone for 7 days, one pup died that night we couldn't save them all.

When we got to the place, I looked around at all the pups and something about my pup stood out to me, I immediately picked him up and held him in my arms the rest of that day as we rescued the others... Snoopy and I, we've been inseparable since (5 years later)

I picked out my dog, the cat picked out my boyfriend..
