Splinterlands Value Growing at exponential rates

It's been a while I have posted something but I have been active in reading posts and do a little bit of comments and engagements. Most of time I spend on participating in hive games and new projects. For @splinterlands I have found a player who is playing my account since start of this month. I'm glad that I'd again be able to harvest some rewards as well grow my collection as well.

After the presale of land (plots), there has been a lot of excitement in splinterlands community. Additional plots were available for 20$ a piece which were sold in last week after the announcement of new governance token (SPS). @splinterlands have been partnering with different companies to expand it's horizon and bring new users. Adding to that 1.5M Untamed packs were sold as well. Last 150K packs were gone under 2-3 days time frame, which is pretty awesome. This all has been reflected in increased market cap of game, which hit 20M$ of all time high.

My collection is also worth around 3000 USD which was under 1000 USD a few months ago. Beta cards has been rising in value and some are even competing with ALPHA edition in term of price. Observing all I decided to buy 100 Untamed packs for (200$). As i got in there last, when all airdrops were already done, still I'm lucky to grab some last few packs. They are already selling close to 2.5$ on open market like Hive Engine. I opened 65 out of 110 packs as I have a lot of potions stacked around. I'm planning to hold 45 packs for a while till their value grow a 2x or 3x and then sell them or i might get greedy and open them to try my luck as we all do.
