For this week's hive open mic with the theme "freedom of expression", I chose to do an acapella version of a song that keeps me going when things get hard.
The song " the climb" means a lot to me and it truly described what I was feeling at the time I was singing it.
The past couple of days haven't been the easiest, and I have been stuck overthinking about where I am heading and if I am making the right decisions but as the song says I will keep trying, keep pushing, keep climbing.
I also chose to do acapella because I love singing acapella and even though I barely sing that way due to a comment someone made that stuck in my head, I have realized that I have the right to express my art in any way that makes me happy.
Freedom of expression means no bounds held and my goal is to share my passion without holding back.

Para el micrófono abierto de la colmena de esta semana con el tema "libertad de expresión", elegí hacer una versión acapella de una canción que me hace seguir adelante cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles.
La canción "the climb" significa mucho para mí y realmente describe lo que estaba sintiendo en el momento de cantarla.
Los últimos dos días no han sido los más fáciles, y he estado atascada pensando demasiado en hacia dónde me dirijo y si estoy tomando las decisiones correctas pero, como dice la canción, seguiré intentándolo, seguiré empujando, seguiré subiendo.
También elegí hacer acapella porque me encanta cantar a acapella y aunque apenas canto así debido a un comentario que alguien hizo y que se me quedó en la cabeza, me he dado cuenta de que tengo derecho a expresar mi arte de cualquier manera que me haga feliz.
La libertad de expresión significa que no hay límites y mi objetivo es compartir mi pasión sin contenerme.
