For a while now, there has been a trend on TikTok where groups of friends throw a picnic and each of the friends are required to pick a color and bring snacks with that color, it is usually called a color picnic or a rainbow picnic, and my friends and I have been wanting to have something like that.
We planned to have it a few months ago but, for some reason, it kept being postponed until on Saturday when we had no choice but to have it because half of my friend group were leaving for school.
Planning the picnic, we choose a venue we considered good enough and to choose our colors, we had to write names of color in a piece of paper to pick and I ended up with the color red.
Since the picnic was on Saturday the 27th, I had to go shopping on the Friday before and I had fun buying only things in the color red.
On the day of the picnic, I had to get dressed in something red and I left for it by 11:30 which was the time slated.
Getting to the venue, I met a few of my friends and after waiting for a while, the rest came and we got to the snack reveal, video making, and just having fun.
We were enjoying ourselves and making jokes before someone came up to us and said we had to leave before snacks weren't allowed in, it was crazy because we had spoken to other staff and they said it was fine as long as we bought things from the garden.
Anyways, we were made to leave and we had to go somewhere else but, I guess it made the whole experience more special; thrown out as friends.
It was a great day in the end and we left each other with stories and laughter; I would totally advise everyone to try this activity over their weekend with family or friends.
