THE LEADING OF GOD
“Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.” – Psalm 25:5, NLT.
When God leads you, you can be sure of getting things done the right way. God leads us into greener pastures and also into our breakthroughs. When there was a drought in Israel, God directed Elijah to go to east of Jordan. He drank from the brook and ravens were directed by God to feed him.
1 Kings 17:6 says, “The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.” Again, when the brook dried up, God directed Elijah to the widow in Zarephath to be fed (1 Kings 17). In another instance, Peter and some of the disciples went fishing, but they caught nothing that night.
Jesus appeared to them in the morning and asked them if they had any fish. When they answered no, Jesus said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.” (John 21:6, NIV). When we follow God’s leading every struggle ends.
God has the solution to every matter, all we need to do is ask Him the way out. You might be at a junction of your life where you don’t know what to do, ask God for direction. There are times you need to fast and wait on God for some days before you receive a word about what to do. Let God lead you. Don’t do a guess work with your destiny, seek God’s direction.
