Our God is a God of mysteries and a problem solver. Nothing is too difficult for Him. God has the solution to every issue of concern. The God of Daniel never disappoints, whenever you call upon Him in times of need He shows Himself. Psalm 50:15 says, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”
Your attitude in the midst of a battle contributes to the outcome. A fearful person is most likely to lose a battle. You cannot look depressed and expect to win your battles against the enemy. Daniel didn’t exhibit any sign of fear or sorrow when he was told by the king’s guard - a decree had been made that all the wise men of Babylon were to be executed. Daniel acted with wisdom and counsel and went to see the king asking for more time to interpret the dream.
Daniel of course didn’t know the dream or interpretation, but knowing the God he served made him confident. All he did was to pray with his friends and God indeed revealed the dream and interpretation to him.
Through their prayers the lives of all the other wise men were preserved. Knowledge of your God will boost your faith and morale irrespective of the situation.
There is no substitute for prayer. It is your weapon of defence. Philippians 4:6 says, “Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Build a robust faith by developing your relationship with God. The God of Daniel has not changed, He stills answers the cry of His children. Stay connected to Him and you can be assured of victory in every battle.
