“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” – Jeremiah 29:12.
We communicate our concerns to God when we pray. Hannah cried out to God when her rival Peninnah provoked her. Jabez also prayed to God to turn his life around. Prayer changes us. It stirs our spirit and keeps our flesh under subjection. Prayer balances our emotions. A troubled heart receives comfort whenever he or she prays.
Luke 22:42-43 says, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” Jesus was strengthened to finish His assignment on the Cross when He communicated His feelings to His Father. Beloved don’t just cry, pray for help.
The flesh can fail you, emotions change. That is why there is the need to pray to keep you afloat. We experience peace when we pray. Prayer is releasing your burdens to God and God in turn giving you rest and peace, Matthew 11:28 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
The more you pray the more your inner man is strengthened. The place of prayer is your gas station. God deposits Himself into you and His Glory envelops you. Any prayerful person is a carrier of fire. It takes prayer for the impossible to become possible. Anytime you are ready to pray, God is ready to listen. Move the mountains with prayer.
