“These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” – Revelation 3:1.
From our anchor verse, we see the mention of the seven spirits of God. What then are the seven spirits of God? These are the seven distinct expression or manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 11:2 ~ “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”
The Spirit of the Lord. Spirit in Greek is Pneuma which means breath. So the breath of God is the life of God. When you have the Spirit of God you operate in His nature (God’s power). Jesus said in Luke 4:18 ~ “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,…”
The Spirit of wisdom. 3. The Spirit of understanding. 4. The Spirit of counsel. 5. The Spirit of might. 6. The Spirit of knowledge. 7. The Spirit of the fear of God. God imparted Solomon with some of these gifts (1 Kings 4:29) as well as the craftsman, Bazalel (Exodus 31:3 – “And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship”).
Anyone who operates in any of these character traits is distinct. You operate in supernatural power which causes you to excel to the top. Check the life of Jesus, Joseph and Daniel. To even know God and understand the Scriptures you need the Spirit of wisdom and understanding (Ephesians 1:17). Desire to be imparted with the different kinds of spirits. It makes your Christian life enjoyable.
