Last week, I went down to Pidie Sub district to supervise students teacher field internship. I was visiting them during their internship at schools. The program is a two month long and will last in April.
The supervision is part of the advising students of their plans and activities during their attachemeny at schools. Students mostly perform teaching at schools as their theoretical practices.
The PPL [called in Bahasa] is a teaching focused program to train students their teaching metholody. Each student is supervised by a teacher at each school. They need to fulfill some administrative and technical requirements during the teaching practice.
Most students show their enjoyment during the teaching and they believe 2 months will not too long. Although the term is going to be very crucial in their teaching experience.
