In 2017, with my family and friends, I had an opportunity to visit the Bali Zoo. It was a dream plan since I was in Bali with my kids. I heard lots about the Bali Zoo and I planned that I would be able to visit. Finally, we made it. The zoo has tremendous collections. The varieties of collections do attract and entertain visitors. One of the collection is Parrot. When we arrive at the entrance gate, we will be welcomed by a photo session by holding parrots on our hands.
I had a great moment to capture the red parrots in their natural cage. There are many parrots in different colors. But for me, the red parrots are very interesting. They fly from one branch to another branch. They are in couples. The color of their feather are very exciting. Sine they are quite closed to visitors, we could take pictures of them.
There are several red parrots and they fly anywhere. The availability of branches and miniature trees allow them to live in the build cage. They zoo management also provides water resource including small pond and water flow from stone [like a waterfall]. The parrots may take shower and enjoy the water. The moment I saw the parrots enjoy the water.
The architecture of the cage also allows the parrots to play easily from one side to another side. The availability of all supportive branches, woods and made up stone should bring them comfortably. The parrots are very welcome and comfort with any visitors. They have been very familiar with people pass their cage. The trees really help them to remain comfort when people come into their cage. They can fly over people heads or even get into the small pond to enjoy water.
Being in the Bali Zoo was one of the greatest experience for me and kids. They did enjoy the visit by having fantastic interactions with animals and all collections. They knew animals that they never met or knew before. Overall, they enjoy very much.
For kids, having experience to see the parrots and especially the red parrots were great. The birds were really friendly.
Although the entrance ticket is pretty expensive, but the experience was priceless. The collections of the zoo reflect its ticket price.
It is highly recommended if you are in Bali.
