Last week, there was a long break which allowed us to plan a trip. So, with friends and families, we planned a camping activity in Saree, Aceh Besar. We decided to have the camping ground in cool and isolated area. We picked a cow breeding complex belongs to the provincial government. The venue is really great. It is just amazing for refreshment and relaxation. The weather was great. It is pretty far from main road and community. In the morning, the view is really awesome.
By having family members [kids] it allowed them to have fun. Kids were able to play around with friends until late of night. Most of them enjoy being together. The played hide and seek and some had book reading and games. All of them did enjoy the moments.
For children, this priceless opportunity mean so much. They could escape from school activities and away in the nature. The experience would be very thoughtful since kids spend daily in town and doing school activities. Being in nature, teach them lots of things. They did enjoy the camping. Another positive aspect was kids were able to experience feeding the cows in the morning. They visited the cows.

Feeding the cows was one of the best moment in their life. They never had one before in town. In addition, smelling the dirt of cows is also another new thing for kids. One, they never have at their formal schools. But this experience allows them this rare moment.
So, planning the out of town camping activity has lots positive impacts on parents and children. There would be kind refreshment and releasing pressures of works. Children however would learn lots of independent skills. They may also experience being in remote areas. These experiences would be impacts of camping specially at the weekend. It is a kind out of comfort zone and having simple things.
Camping will teach kids many important life skills. They would learn important independency aspect of life. Kids are trained to set up their tend and enjoy meal with non-standard preparation. Having children out of routines is very crucial. It will encourage them to prepare their capacity. They will learn to adjust with nature.
In short, camping is very positive for adult and kids.
