There's expectations that never get met. One thing I've learnt is to be happy. Maybe not all the time, but mostly I choose it. I've navigated through a plethora of bad experiences in my lifetime. The smaller issues don't seem to matter when compared to those.
So now, even when the universe hates me, I stand and smile. Laugh. Crack jokes because life is long, and to be angry everyday rather than feeling blessed doesn't appeal to me anymore. And in those moments you just can't be happy, fake it until it becomes the real thing.
Smile as if you haven't for a while.
