I see your point with holding precious metals. I’ve been hearing lots of talks about silver and gold. Gold seems like the real deal like bitcoin. The scarcity of some coins make it a speculative but has some scarcity and predictability in supply issuance. I have been a fan of the 21 million supply coins recently. Monero also has steady inflation although uncapped like ethereum. Proof of stake coins doesn’t seem like a safe asset to me anymore because the value can be driven down after hype selling.
