Almost noon today something was happening up there. Looks like a rainbow ring that is circling the sun. That's Halo.
Halo is a wonderful phenomenon. Of course there's something going on up there. Ice crystals in cirrus clouds in the lowest layer of atsmorfer (Troposphere) cause this beautiful natural phenomenon. It's like a rainbow, but not as complete as a rainbow color.
As I know, this phenomenon often occurs in the rainy season, but in the area where I have seen it, it has long since not rained. Actually, we are still in the dry season here.
It has been said, Halo that appears on such a hot day, can be used as a means of weather forecasting. A few hours after that time, a drizzle would come. But unfortunately I have not had time to see that prediction happen.
