A very interesting point, the bully does what he or she does because their upbringing has been dysfunctional or mal-adaptive and lacking the proper coping mechanisms and tools most of us would take for granted. That makes the situation more important to NOT remain silent and be brought into the light. There's a saying, "Bullies are sometimes themselves victims of other bullies." can be treated with proper counseling or medical intervention.
