The grand old clock big hand strikes 9pm as the ballroom lights dim, the Masquerade buzzes with anticipation as the centre stage revealed four microphones on a backdrop of white and green bathroom tiles. One of the microphones auspiciously positioned in front of a shower stall.

As a recognizable Afro soul rhythm begins to swell, the Mistress of Ceremonies appears at the far left of the stage, “My distinguished Ladies and gentlemen of Hive, for our entertainment feature direct from Hive Nigeria let us welcome our hottest vocal band ‘Dangerous!’”

The audience rose to their feet as @hopestylist, @merit.ahama, @afrikens, and @goldenproject strode onto the stage. Murmurs of admiration as the three girls showcased their beautiful Masquerade outfits until those murmurs became excited shrieks when the sole gentleman appeared clad in only a white bathrobe. The Masquerade hall resonated with the voices of a thousand women, “Take it off! Take it off!” in anticipation of their opening Afro Soul hit single, “Take it off.”....
