I am 26 years old, living a life where my parents were too concerned with building a life for themselves, so I ended up having to fend for myself from the ground up. Sometimes, too much control spoils you so much that you are unable to process how to live by yourself...

There's no doubt that your generation is facing difficult times but even as you cohabit with your parents it is important you still make progress for your own independence. Some of that uncertainty may be your expectations, goals and role within the family may widely differ from your parents, So discussing and making clear distinctions between family responsibilities and your need personal growth to independence. For a long time my mother wanted me to be something that I am not, a lot of arguing between us but eventually there was a negotiated settlement. It was her unrealistic high expectations of me versus my stubbornness.
